If they get written permission this week they will open on Monday next 23rd October 2006.( Permission has now been granted)
They will open initially with 4 patients two of which will be former Brain Injury patients.
They will increase slowly at probably two a week until they reach their limit of 17.
In the Day Time there will be 5 staff plus - One C.S.W. working 9 till 5

In the Night Time “ 4 staff plus – Two as above.
The patients will be allowed access to the grounds in limited numbers for 15 minute periods only this will be by means of a key card system giving access to the front door only.
They will be allowed to go on shopping trips to local towns, they will be escorted to the Penperlleni Bus Stop and escorted back on their return from the Bus Stop, they will be given a simple mobile phone to inform staff of the return on the Bus.
At night they will be locked in all external doors including fire escapes
will be locked.
