19th OCTOBER E Mail from Glenn Ingle to H I W Helen Nethercott

From: Glenn Ingle 19 October 2006 20:05To: 'HIW@wales.gsi.gov.uk'Subject: FW: FAO: Helen Nethercott

Helen,

As Partnerships in Care have now been given the go-ahead to open Aderyn to patients, can I expect the requested report shortly?

Does this report state, why common sense has gone out the window when a business comes to place criminals opposite primary & nursery schools, and why HIW consider Partnerships in Care’s proposals carried more weight than the overwhelming feelings of the village, and the safety of our children?

Can you also advise, God-forbid who is liable in the future if there are any incidents.

Finally, who picks up the cost of policing (helicopters etc) if and when patients abscond? I trust this will be Partnerships in Care?

Yours sincerely,

Glenn Ingle

Helen,

I understand that Aderyn (formerly Beechwood House) has been given the go-ahead for operation, despite the concerns of the residents of Goytre.

I am also aware that there have been requests, under the Freedom of Information Act to receive a copy of the report that HIW made concerning this.

Despite the fact that no copy of the report has been received, I assume given the fact operations are underway, that this report has been completed?

Can I ask why, despite these request(s) no copy has been sent out. Is there something to hide? It now makes it very difficult for the residents to comment on the report; perhaps again this was HIWs intention?

Can you please forward a copy of the full report, without delay to me please:

Glenn Ingle

Please email me back if you have any questions.

Regards,
Glenn Ingle.
